Wichita, Kan. - Rusty Allen of Tabor College has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Athletic Director of the Year for 2013-14. He will be formally recognized at the upcoming KCAC Sport Management Conference held at Sterling College on August 5. This is Allen's second Athletic Director of the Year award in his tenure at Tabor, the first coming in 2011-12.

 

The annual Athletic Director of the Year Award is determined by a peer vote among the members of the KCAC Governing Council. By virtue of receiving this award at the conference level, Allen will also be considered as a candidate for the National Athletic Director of the Year by the NAIA Athletic Directors Association.

Wichita, Kan. - Dr. Merle Schlabaugh of Bethel College has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Faculty Athletics Representative of the Year for 2013-14. He will be formally recognized at the upcoming KCAC Sport Management Conference held at Sterling College on August 5.

 

The annual Faculty Athletics Representative award is determined by a peer vote among the members of the KCAC Governing Council. Schlabaugh will also be considered as a candidate for the NAIA's Wally Schwartz Award.

Sterling, Kan. – The Sterling Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of former Warrior Golf standout Tanner George as the Head Men and Women's Golf Coach. Former Head Golf Coach Luke Cureton has taken a new position as the Director of Development for Annual Programs in the Office of Institutional Advancement at the college.
