Kansas City, Missouri - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 319 football student-athletes have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Waco, Texas – Four KCAC student-athletes have been chosen as NAIA Football All-Americans for 2014. The First and Second teams were selected by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and released by the AFCA and NAIA on Tuesday, December 16.
Carlos Cox of Friends University represents the KCAC on the First Team Defense, while Luke Lundy of Ottawa University, Kenny Nez of the University of Saint Mary, and Antonio Bray of Sterling College earned Second Team Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams honors.

WICHITA, Kan. - The 9th-ranked Friends University women's basketball team helped its coach reach a milestone with a win Saturday night inside Garvey Gymansium against Ottawa University. The victory was #100 for Friends Head Coach RaeAnne Boothe, who now has a 100-42 record in her 5th season with the Falcons. Since 2011, Friends is 82-29 under Boothe with a 49-7 mark in KCAC play.
Kansas City, Mo. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and eight member schools repeat as NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Award winners. This is the fifth consecutive year for the KCAC to receive this recognition.
