NAIA Preseason Women's Poll

Kansas City, Mo. - Capitalizing on solid finishes last fall, the Women's Cross Country programs at Kansas Wesleyan University and Friends University find themselves considered among the best teams in this year's NAIA Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll.  The Coyotes come in at 14th after a final ranking of 20th last fall.  At the completion of the Fall 2009 campaign, the Falcons received votes nationally and were considered one of the top 30 programs in the country.  This fall they begin the season ranked 22nd.
 
Also receiving votes and consideration are the Southwestern Women, who are perennial contenders for the KCAC Cross Country Championship.

Kansas City, Mo. - In the NAIA Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll, the Southwestern Men are ranked 14th after finishing the Fall 2009 season at 23rd while the Friends Men come in at a tie for 25th after completing last year's season outside of the final rankings.
 
The McPherson Men also received one vote in the preseason poll to give the KCAC three total teams in this first Men's Cross Country rating for Fall 2010.

Doug Quint

McPherson, Kan. - McPherson College President Michael Schneider announced Monday morning at a campus briefing that Doug Quint, current head men's soccer coach and assistant athletic director, will be the next athletic director at McPherson College, effective immediately. Quint will remain as the head of the soccer program in addition to his responsibilities as athletic director. "We expect our student athletes to graduate," says McPherson President Michael Schneider.
 
"Building programs through graduation is how you win in the NAIA. Doug (Quint) embraces this philosophy and will provide strong leadership for our athletic programs." Quint spent last year assisting interim AD Jenni Richardson with management of the day-to-day operations of McPherson's 13 varsity sports. Much of Quint's responsibilities revolved around the scheduling, development and management of McPherson's athletic facilities.

Grand Island, Neb. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and the Victory Sports Network (VSN) have announced a live video streaming partnership for the 2010-2011 athletic season.
 
As part of the agreement the KCAC will be able to stream an unlimited number of games on the Victory Sports Network's Livestream channel that has been specially created for KCAC events.

Kansas City, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is proud to announce a contract extension with Daktronics through the 2012-13 sports season. Daktronics is a company based out of Brookings, S.D., that owns DakStats, the official statistical software of the NAIA since 2001. This extension will be in effect for the 2010-11 season and is separate from the marketing contract.
 
DakStats is the premiere software for managing game, season and career statistics. DakStats software is used at all levels of play, from high school to professional, for tracking live game stats and compiling in-depth statistical reports. The statistical data on the NAIA national statistical leader-board is updated by member schools on a daily basis. The leader-board provides statistics for eight championship sports.
