Kansas City, Mo. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is represented in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll by No. 3 Tabor College, and No. 25 Ottawa University, with Sterling College receiving votes. The Poll, announced Monday, September 22nd, is the second poll of the 2014 NAIA football season.

Wichita, Kan. – Bethany's Steven Williams (Sr., Houston, Texas) is named Defensive Player of the Week, and his teammate Adam Maisch (Jr., Copperopolis, Calif.) is named Special Teams Player of the Week following a win over No. 16 ranked Ottawa on Saturday. Taylor Sachs (Sr., Georgetown, Texas) of Kansas Wesleyan earns Offensive Player of the Week after his performance in the Coyotes' win over Southwestern.


Williams, Maisch, and Sachs were selected KCAC AstroTurf Players of the Week from a pool of nominees by vote of conference Sports Information Directors for their performances during the week of September 15th - 21st.

Wichita, Kan. – September 20th is the fourth Saturday of the 2014 KCAC football regular season and marks the beginning of conference play.  All 10 KCAC teams will be in action this weekend with the first game kicking off at 1:30 p.m., the second game at 6:00 p.m., and the final three games slated for a 7:00 p.m. start.
