Wichita, Kan. – September 20th is the fourth Saturday of the 2014 KCAC football regular season and marks the beginning of conference play. All 10 KCAC teams will be in action this weekend with the first game kicking off at 1:30 p.m., the second game at 6:00 p.m., and the final three games slated for a 7:00 p.m. start. Kansas City, Mo. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is represented in the first regular season NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top-25 Poll by #17 University of Saint Mary. The poll, released Wednesday, September 17th, also has Southwestern College receiving votes.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Blessing Ngwa of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Ngwa was selected based on his performances from Sept. 8 – 14 and was chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections.
LINDSBORG, Kan. -- Bethany College's punter Brett Crome will have his name etched in both the Bethany College record book and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) record book for his performance Saturday at Graceland University.
Lindsborg, Kan. – Last season, Idris Ibn Idris was a key factor in the Bethany Swedes success. He broke numerous records, and with his offensive and defensive skills he helped lead the Swedes to a 20-11 record and a 12-6 record within the KCAC. Now, Idris is no longer a Bethany basketball player. But that does not mean his playing career is over. The 6'5 guard from San Diego, Calif. has signed a professional contract to play for Halcones Xalapa "Xalpa Falcons" in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.
