WICHITA, KS - The KCAC has announced this week's KCAC Football Players of the Week. Andy Otto, the senior running back from the Ottawa University is the Offensive Player of the Week. Jeff Paulson, the senior linebacker from McPherson College is the Defensive Player of the Week. And Casey Wieder, the junior kicker from Ottawa University is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
 
Andy OttoKCAC Offensive Player of the Week Andy Otto is a senior running back for Ottawa University from Drexel, Missouri. In a 41-14 win at home vs. Bethany College, Otto had 18 carries for 145 yards (8.01 av.) and 1 TD. He also had 5 receptions for 62 yards. Ottawa University's record is now 9-0 overall and 8-0 in the KCAC.
                       
Jeff PaulsonKCAC Defensive Player of the Week Jeff Paulson is a senior linebacker for McPherson College from Limon, Colorado. In a 34-16 win at Bethel College, he had 10 total-tackles (6 solo) including 3.0 tackles-for-loss (-17 yards loss). Paulson's 8.1 tackles per game average ranks him fifth in the KCAC Conference. Paulson anchors a McPherson defense which in the past three games has held opponents under 220 yards total offense. McPherson College's records is now 8-1 overall and 7-1 in the KCAC.
                   
Casey WiederKCAC Special Teams Player of the Week Casey Wieder is a junior kicker for Ottawa University from North Richland Hills, Texas. In a 41-14 win at home versus Bethany College, Wieder had made 2 of 2 field-goal attempts (long 46 yards; a career high), and made 5 of 5 PAT attempts. Ottawa University's record is now 9-0 overall and 8-0 in the KCAC.
