KANSAS CITY, MO - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the opening round matches for the 30th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship. The top 11 teams will receive a bye, while the next 24 teams will play in the opening round matches on Nov. 21. All matches will be played at on-campus sites. Friends University is the KCAC representative in the NAIA Volleyball National Championship.
 
Friends University will travel to Bellevue University in Nebraska to play the Bruins. The match will be on November 21st at
4:00PM. The winner advances to the National Tournament final site in Sioux City, Iowa.

Friends University is the KCAC Champion having defeated Bethel College in the KCAC Conference Tournament Final this past Saturday in five sets.
 
Bellevue University received an at large bid after going 14-0 in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season. Bellevue was upset by College of the Ozarks in the MCAC Tournament Finals.
