WICHITA, KS - The KCAC has announced the Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of February 1 through February 7. The KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week is Britany Gasper from Sterling College.
 
Britany Gasper is a 5'10" junior forward for Sterling College from Tipton, Kansas. In two games this week, Gasper had 44 points (22.0 av.), 18 rebounds (9.0 rpg), 2 assists, 4 blocks, 4 steals, shot 17/24 on field-goals for 0.708%, and shot 10/14 on free-throws for 0.714%.
 

Gasper opened the week with 24 points and 8 rebounds in a game against the University of Saint Mary. In Sterling's second conference match-up of the week at Friends University, Gasper scored 20 points while grabbing 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.

 
Sterling College went 2-0 on the week with both wins being KCAC contests. The Warriors are 13-1 in the KCAC, holding on to the top spot, and 19-4 overall. As of 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning, Sterling College is ranked 15th in the nation.
