WICHITA, KS - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced this week's Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week. The KCAC Track Athlete of the Week is Carrington Crum from Southwestern College. The KCAC Field Athlete of the Week is Alex Hutchins also from Southwestern College.
Carrington Crum is a sophomore runner for Southwestern College from Wichita, Kansas. This week in the Southwestern Invitational meet he won the 3000 meter Steeplechase with a time of 9:43.85, missing the "B" national qualifying mark by just 3.85 seconds. He also finished 5th in the 5000 meter run.

Alex Hutchins is a senior thrower for Southwestern College from Winfield, Kansas. This week in the Southwestern Invitational meet he won the hammer throw with a mark of 162-5. This meets the "B" qualifying standard for the NAIA National Outdoor Championships, and is a 21 foot personal best.
The next KCAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week award will be announced on March 23.
