WICHITA, KS - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced this week's Women's Track Athlete of the Week. The KCAC Track Athlete of the Week is Kari Roth from Southwestern College.
 

Kari RothKari Roth is a senior runner for Southwestern College from Winfield, Kansas. This week in the Southwestern Invitational meet she started off the outdoor season by winning the 400 M low hurdles in a time of 66.89, which is within 1.5 seconds of a national qualifying mark. She also led off the winning Southwestern women's 4 x 400 m relay which posted a time of 4:13.09. In addition to these first-place finishes, she raced to a 3rd place finish in the 100 m hurdles in a time of 16.56.

 
The next KCAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week award will be announced on March 23.
