WICHITA, KS - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced this week's Softball Players of the Week. The KCAC Position Player of the Week is Morgan Evans from Bethany College. The KCAC Pitcher of the Week is Roxanne Rodriguez from Tabor College.
 

Morgan Evans is a 5'3" senior designated player for Bethany College from Yuma, Arizona. In two games this week, Evans went 5 for 6 from the plate for a 0.833 batting average, scored 2 runs, had 2 RBI's, and stole 3 bases on 3 attempts. Evans best game of the week came against Avila University. In the game, Evans went 3 for 3, scored 2 runs, and stole 3 bases on 3 attempts.

 
Bethany College went 2-0 on the week and is 6-6 overall.
 
Roxanne Rodriguez is a 5'6" freshman pitcher for Tabor College from McAllen, Texas. In her only game of the week, Rodriguez pitched a shutout against Langston University. Rodriguez pitched 7 innings, struck out 8 batters, and only allowed 3 hits. The shutout marked Rodriguez's third shutout of the season in as many tries.
 
Tabor College went 1-0 on the week and is 5-1 overall.
 
The next KCAC Softball Player of the Week award will be announced on March 23.
