WICHITA, KS - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced this week's Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week. The KCAC Track Athlete of the Week is Kylie Covey from Ottawa University. The KCAC Field Athlete of the Week is Amber Dunham from Bethany College.

Kylie Covey is a junior runner for Ottawa University from Valley Center, Kansas. This week in the 2010 Bethel Invitational, she won the 100 M with a time of 12.61, and she finished second in the 200 M with a time of 26.21.

Amber Dunham is a senior thrower for Bethany College from Independence, Kansas. This week in the Bethel College Invitational, she finished first in the Javelin throw with a mark of 40.98 M (her personal best, beating her previous best of 38.76m, and a qualifying "A" Standard nationally). She finished second in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.72 m (also a personal best exceeding her previous best which was 13.44m, and this bettered her "A" Standard qualifying mark for NAIA nationals).
