Wichita, Kan. – Shannon Carlin of Ottawa University is the KCAC women's basketball Player of the Week.  The 5-10 Senior Guard from Tonganoxie, Kansas  scored 33 points for the Braves in two KCAC matchups this week.

  

Ottawa first traveled to Kansas Wesleyan University, and were defeated the Coyotes 66 – 61. In the loss, Carlin scored 20 points and recorded eight rebounds along with two blocks and four steals.

 

The Braves then took on #15 Friends University in Ottawa, and won 74 to 54.  Carlin scored 13 points, had four rebounds and four assists in the win

 

Carlin finishes the week with a 0.700 FG% (14-20), 33 points, 12 rebounds, and five steals.
