Wichita, Kan. –Derrick Toney of McPherson College has been named KCAC Men's Indoor Fields Athletes of the Week and Colton McNinch of Southwestern College has been selected as KCAC Men's Track Athlete of the week.

  

Toney, a Senior from Salinas, California highlighted McPherson's finishers at the Highland Open with a second place finish that included a NAIA 'B' Standard jump of 2.00m. The performance qualifies Toney for nationals for the second consecutive year. He earned All-American honors a year ago.

  

McNinch, a Sophomore from Utica, Kansas finished second in the 5,000 M run at the Missouri Southern Indoor Meet on Saturday, Jan. 21. His time of 15:02.17 meets the "A" qualifying standard for the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships. It was also Colton's personal best for 5,000 M and was just 4 seconds of the Southwestern school record.
