Wichita, Kan. –Christine Sheppard of Southwestern College has been named KCAC Women's Indoor Track Athletes of the Week and Mandy Bostwick of Southwestern College has been selected as KCAC Women's Field Athlete of the week.

Bostwick, a Senior from Ozawkie, Kansas threw 35' 4.5" in the shot, which was good for 9th place out of 30 competitors. In the 20# weight throw, Mandy recorded a throw of 38' 2.25 ", which placed her 12th overall out of 18 throwers.

Sheppard, a Sophomore from Wichita, Kansas established two career best performances in the 60m dash and the 200m dash. In her 60m dash, Christine ran 8.10 and finished 7th overall out of 26 competitors.

In the 200m, Christine broke her previous career-best by nearly a full second, racing to a 27.18 performance, which was good for 9th place out of 38 competitors.
