2005 Football All-Conference Selections

LINDSBORG , KS -- The 2005 All-Conference football teams of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference have been named by the ten head coaches.

Head Coach Mike Gardner of the Tabor College “Bluejays” and Head Coach Lance Hinson of the University of Saint Mary “Spires” were named the KCAC football "Co-Coaches-of-the-Year." Coach Dustin Miller of Tabor College was named the KCAC football "Assistant Coach-of-the-Year." Recipients of awards in four player-honor categories were announced: KCAC Player-of-the-Year: Roger Butler of Tabor College . Offensive Player-of-the-Year: Darrell Grames, Kansas Wesleyan University . Defensive Co-Players-of-the-Year: Dan Kontz, Friends University and Jake Schenk, Tabor College . Special Teams Player-of-the-Year: Garrett Whorton of Bethel College . Adam Paredes of Kansas Wesleyan University was named the second annual recipient of the “Dr. Ted Kessinger Champion of Character Award.”
