
Wichita, Kan. – Ottawa University Junior, Amber Ramsey is awarded KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The 5-11, Forward from Olathe, Kansas recorded back-to-back double-doubles this week.
Ottawa competed in the University of Saint Mary Classic on November 16 & 17. The Braves lost their first game to Central Methodist (Mo.), 77-67. In the loss, Ramsey scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. She added two blocked shots and three steals to her stat sheet.
The Braves went on to win their second game of the classic, defeating Johnson & Wales (Colo.), 71-66. Ramsey scored 17 and tallied 11 rebounds. She also recorded four assists and a block.
Ramsey finished the week with a .560 FG% (14-25), 21 points, and 22 rebounds.
