
Wichita, Kan. – Kayla Eilert a 5-6, Guard for the Sterling College Warriors is awarded KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The Whitewater, Kansas native scored 43 points and grabbed 21 rebounds during a recent two game road trip in Nebraska.
Eilert scored twenty points in Sterling's, 79-62, defeat of York. She added 10 rebounds, six assists, and seven steals to her stat sheet.
The Warriors then faced #18 Hastings, losing 83-61. Eilert recorded season highs in points (23) and rebounds (11) during the losing effort.
Eilert finished the week with a .409 FG% (9-22), 0.758 FT% (25-33), 43 points, 21 rebounds, eight assists, seven steals, and a block.
