
Wichita, Kan. - Senior Cassi Spleiss of Sterling College is named KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The 5-8, Guard/Forward from Camp Verde, Arizona averaged 22 points and six rebounds over two conference games this week.
Spleiss played 21 minutes for the Warriors in their 65-45 home defeat of Bethel College. Spleiss recorded 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal. In a road loss to McPherson College Spleiss accounted for half of Sterling's offense by scoring a career high 30 points (The Bulldogs defeated the Warriors 67 to 60).
Spleiss finished the week shooting 56% percent from the field (14-25) and 82% from the free throw line (14-17).
