
Wichita, Kan. - Junior Janelle Rust of Tabor College is named KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season. The 5-11, Forward from Elbing, Kansas averaged a double double this week, contributing to Tabor's two conference wins.
Rust scored nine points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Tabor defeated Kansas Wesleyan, 72-67, on January 16th in Hillsboro. On the 19th, Rust tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds in an 84-56 win at Sterling.
Rust finished the week with a 31.8% field goal percentage (7-22), 23 points, 22 rebounds, four assists, and a block. Rust leads the KCAC in scoring with 320 points (16 per game) and Field Goal Percentage at 47.8%. She is second in conference with 147 rebounds (7.35 per game).
