
Wichita, Kan. – Derrick Toney of McPherson College has been selected KCAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week following an NAIA National Championships qualifying jump. Frank Adelman of Southwestern College repeats as KCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week.
Toney, a Senior from Salinas, California finished first in the High Jump and Long Jump at the Nebraska Wesleyan University Quad Meet. Toney's mark of 2.0m in the High Jump matches the NAIA "B" Qualifying Standard. Toney's jump of 6.33m in the Long Jump is a McPherson College record.

Adelman, a Senior from Yukon, Oklahoma repeats as Track Athlete of the Week after a 4:23.49 Mile Run at the Missouri Southern State University Lion Invitational. Adelman finished fourth of 44 runners in the mile run. Adelman ran the 1600m leg of the Distance Medley Relay for the Moundbuilders. Southwestern finished first in the DMR with a time of 10:27.66, 1.7 seconds shy of the NAIA "B" qualifying standard.
