Wichita, Kan. – Jessica Hobbs of Southwestern College is named KCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her efforts February 11 - 17. The 5-8, Freshman Guard from Harrah, Oklahoma averaged 18.5 points and 4.5 rebounds over two Moundbuilder wins this week.
Hobbs scored 20 points and recorded six rebounds in 23 minutes of play as Southwestern defeated Bethel, 81-48, on February 14th. She connected on five of 10 three point attempts.
On the February 16, Hobbs tallied 17 points in 24 minutes. She added three assists, three rebounds, a block, and a steal to her stat sheet as Southwestern defeated Saint Mary, 86 to 54.
Hobbs finished the week with a 52% Field Goal Percentage (13-25), 37 points, nine rebounds, five assists, a block, and two steals.
