McPHERSON, KS — The 2007 All-Conference men’s and women’s soccer First and Second Teams and the Honorable Mention lists as voted by the conference head coaches have been released.

MEN’S SOCCER

           The KCAC Soccer Men’s “Co-coaches-of-the-year” are Mike Dibbini of Kansas Wesleyan University and Nathan Wilkey of Friends University.  The KCAC Soccer Men’s “offensive-player-of-the-year” is Armando Rodriguez of McPherson College.  The Men’s “defensive-player-of-the-year” is Tyler Adam of Sterling College.  The Men’s “goalkeeper-of-the-year” is Corey Speed of Sterling College.  The Men’s “newcomer-of-the-year” is Mario Rodriguez of Kansas Wesleyan University; and the Men’s “freshman-of-the-year” is Jonathan Herrera of Bethany College.

            Kansas Wesleyan University is the men’s soccer champion of the Kansas Conference for 2007.

The KCAC Men’s Soccer Post-season Tournament champion will be determined in the KCAC post-season men’s tournament October 24-27 — with the quarterfinals at higher seeded sites October 24, and the semifinals and championship matches October 26 and 27 at Adair-Austin Stadium on the campus of Friends University in Wichita.
