LINDSBORG, KS — The 2007 All-Conference Volleyball first and second teams and the honor lists of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference have been named by the ten head coaches.

The KCAC Player-of-the-Year is Sarah Claborn of Kansas Wesleyan University, and the Libero/Defensive-Specialist-of-the-Year is Kristen Schrag of Bethel College. The KCAC Freshman-of-the-Year is Jordan Crosson of Tabor College (freshman, middle blocker, Minneapolis, KS). The KCAC Coach-of-the -Year is Shawn Taylor of Kansas Wesleyan University.

Kansas Wesleyan University is the volleyball champion of the Kansas Conference for 2007.

The KCAC Volleyball Post-season Tournament champion will be determined in the KCAC post-season volleyball tournament championship match this Saturday evening (November 10, at the higher seed campus site).

Both the KCAC tournament champion and regular-season champion will advance to the regional tournament to be held at Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska, on Thursday through Saturday, November 15-17. Two teams will represent the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the other four teams in regionals will be the four remaining top rated teams.

Five players were named unanimously to the All-KCAC first-team, and five on the first team are repeat performers from last year’s All-KCAC first-team. The All-KCAC 2007 volleyball players are:
