The 2008 KCAC Baseball Tournament is scheduled for
May 1
through May 3.
Kansas Wesleyan University will be the host school for the upcoming KCAC Tournament, which begins on Thursday. Due to conflicts with Dean Evans Stadium in Salina , Thursday's first round games will be played in Lindsborg at Bethany College 's Anderson Baseball Field beginning at 1 p.m. Games on Friday and Saturday's will be played at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina, starting at 11 a.m., both days. Kansas Wesleyan is the 2008 KCAC Regular Season Champion and is the top seed, while Friends received the second seed in the tournament after KWU's sweep of Saint Mary and the Falcons 10-1 win over Sterling on Tuesday. KWU and Friends will receive automatic bids to the NAIA Region IV Tournament which begins May 7 in Hutchinson and will not participate in the KCAC tournament. Saint Mary will be the top seed in the KCAC Post-Season Tournament and will face no.4 tournament seed Ottawa on Thursday in Lindsborg at 4 p.m. at Anderson Field. No.2 tournament seed Bethany will face no.3 tournament seed Sterling on Thursday at 1 p.m., also in Lindsborg. Game schedule: Game 3: Friday, 11 a.m., Dean Evans Stadium,

Hutchinson . For the Thursday games in Lindsborg, there is no admission fee. For Friday and Saturday's sessions at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina, there is a $5 flat fee for anyone wishing to come to the games. This is a single day, all games ticket. |
