 NORTH NEWTON, KS — The 2003-04 All-Conference Women's Tennis Teams of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference have been chosen by the head coaches.Coach-of-the-year is Vic Bateman, head coach of the women's KCAC championship tennis team at Bethany College in Lindsborg. Named the KCAC "Most Valuable Player" was Katrina Brodhagen of Bethel College. Stephanie Chippeaux was named KCAC women's tennis "Scholar-Athlete." The KCAC women's tennis "Sportsmanship Award" was presented to Stephanie Chippeaux from Friends University. The KCAC "Co-Newcomers of the Year" were Tori Everhart from Bethany College and Leah Rankin from Southwestern College.

The champion of the KCAC post-season tournament is Bethany College and the runner-up is Bethel College, therefore both Bethany and Bethel will advance to the N.A.I.A. Region IV tournament to be held Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Fremont, Nebraska. (The men’s tennis regional championship tournament will be held the same day, also in Fremont.) The regional champion will advance to the NAIA national championship tournament.
