KANSAS CITY, MO - Twenty one Women's Basketball Players in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference have been named 2009 Daktronics National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Scholar Athletes.
  
The NAIA announced 204 Division II Women's Basketball Players. Student-athletes must be nominated by their head coach, have achieved junior academic status and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. The KCAC had a total of 21 athletes recognized for the award.
