WICHITA, KS - Andrew Topham of Southwestern College and Antowine Lamb of McPherson College have been honored as KCAC Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
KCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week:
Andrew Topham, SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE (KS), Sophomore, from Peabody, KS.
In the week at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic on Saturday, he won the 5,000M Run with a time of 15.08.73 which meets the "B" qualifying standard for the NAIA National Outdoor track & field championships; he finished 15 seconds ahead of second-place.
KCAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week:
Antowine Lamb, McPHERSON COLLEGE (KS), Junior, from Topeka, KS.
In the week at the ACCK Championships, he won the High Jump event at 6'2", and then added legs on the M.C. Bulldogs' 4x100 andn 4zx400 relays.
