WICHITA, KS - The 2009 KCAC Men's Track and Field Championship Meet was won by Southwestern College last Saturday, May 2. Nine KCAC institutions participated in the Conference Meet.
 
Southwestern College won their 27th consecutive KCAC Men's Track and Field Championship Meet on Saturday, May 2 at McPherson College.

Out of 21 scored events, Southwestern College scored 181 points, Bethel College 126, Friends University 82, Ottawa University 63, Tabor College 57, Bethany College 55, McPherson College 41, Sterling College 29 and Kansas Wesleyan University 16.
 
Athletes must qualify in order to participate in the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The National Tournament will begin on Thursday, May 21 and end Saturday, May 23 in Edwardsville, Illinois at Ralph Korte Stadium.
