WICHITA, KS - The 2009 KCAC Women's Track and Field Championship Meet was won by Southwestern College on Saturday, May 2.
 
Southwestern College won their 17th consecutive KCAC Women's Track and Field Championship Meet at McPherson College.

Out of 21 scored events, Southwestern College scored 164.50 points, Tabor College 146, Bethany College 99.50, Bethel College 80, Friends University 49.50, Ottawa University 44.50, Sterling College 39, McPherson College 17 and Kansas Wesleyan University 10.
 
Athletes must qualify in order to participate in the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The National Tournament will begin on Thursday, May 21 and end Saturday, May 23 in Edwardsville, Illinois at Ralph Korte Stadium.
