KANSAS CITY, MO - The 2009 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Softball National Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 14 - Wednesday, May 20 in Decatur, Alabama. 

The 29^th Annual Tournament will begin with pool play on Thursday, May 14 - Saturday, May 16 at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex. Friends University has been placed in Pool A and will be competing against California Baptist University, Park University and Hastings College.

On Thursday, May 14, #22 ranked Friends University (38-7) will take on Park University (26-11) at 2:00 p.m. on field 1.

Then on Friday, May 15, Friends University will compete against Hastings College (34-15) at 4:30 p.m. on field 2.

For the last pool play matchup, Friends University will face off against #1 ranked California Baptist (54-5) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, on field 3.

Winners from each pool will move onto an eight-team double elimination bracket, scheduled for Monday, May 18 - Wednesday, May 20.
