KANSAS CITY, MO - Recently, the NAIA announced its 86 recipients of the Daktronics Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete Award.  Twelve tennis players from a combined total of six KCAC schools were recognized with this prestigious award this year.
 
The following is a list of the 12 individuals from the KCAC being recognized nationally.
 
Derek Watson - Bethany College
Isaac Chambers - Bethany College
Matt Hershberger - Bethel College
Scott Matzen - Friends University
Daniel Lepping - Friends University
Darrin Rasmussen - Friends University
Nathan Clary - McPherson College
Jordan Rothrock - McPherson College
Mathew Hanson - Southwestern College
Aaron Friesen - Tabor College
Jason Reiswig - Tabor College
Scott Adrian - Tabor College
 
In order to qualifiy for this award, the student athlete must be nominated by his head coach, maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and achieved junior status academically.
