KANSAS CITY, MO - The Daktronics-NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar Athletes have been announced.  Among the 121 national recipients are 12 winners within the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference representing six different institutions.
 
The 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar Athletes from the KCAC are:
 
Beth Prier - Bethany College
Crystal Mannebaum - Bethany College
Maya Kehr - Bethel College
Katie Robertson - Bethel College
Paige McKinney - Bethel College
Sara Pugh - Friends University
Brittney Parke - Kansas Wesleyan University
Molly Hamlett - Southwestern College
Kourtney McLeland - Southwestern College
Julie Wilke - Southwestern College
Katie Chlumsky - Tabor College
Amanda Wann - Tabor College
 
In order to qualifiy for this award, the student athlete must be nominated by her head coach, maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and achieved junior status academically.
