KANSAS CITY, MO - The NAIA announced 94 men's golfers as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes today.  Among these recipients are three men's golfers representing two institutions in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
   
Aaron Howard and Nathan Schmidt, both from Bethel College, and Nathan Read of Friends University were recognized by the NAIA for their efforts in the classroom and on the course.
 
In order to qualifiy for this award, the student athlete must be nominated by his head coach, maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and achieved junior status academically.
